Quantize mode hot cue XDJ RX

Hi,

I have noticed that in rekordbox you can set the loops or hot cues to start on the 1/2, 1/4 or 1/8 of a beat, but on the XDJ-RX you can only set off a hot cue on the beat, so to speak. Is there any way to change this, other than turning off quantize mode? It generally sounds awful when it's not quantized, but if I could set it off on the 1/2 or 1/4 beat, that would make all the difference. The only way I have found to get such an effect is by halving the sample length using the arrow buttons under cue/loop, but this is not ideal, as you can only go down in stages rather than just throwing it in randomly. Basically, I'm looking for a way to syncopate my loops and hot cues, but syncopate it in time, i.e on the 1/2 or 1/4 beat, if that makes any sense at all?
