DJM Record App not staying connected to Mixer.

Hello, im trying to record a mix on the pioneer djm record app on my Iphone 8. My iphone recently updated to the new IOS and it seems that my phone is having trouble staying connected to the DJM900nxs2. It will record between 1-4 minutes and then disconnect and stop recording the mix. It used to work fine but not anymore. I have tried with both the apple cable as well as third party.
