Rekordbox Database & Cue/Memory Points

I am looking to move my rekordbox and music from a macbook pro to an imac (fresh install) i have seen the video on how to move the database along with the music files to transfer from A to B using an external HD.

My question is, when i transfer the database will all my memory points and cue points be transferred to? I cant see this confirmed anywhere?

Thanks

Erik Minekus

Of course, those are stored in the Rekordbox database.

Ok, i wasnt sure if it held the mem points and cue points as ive had issues in the past where i lost them all!

Can anyone else confirm aswell as Erik that this is the case before I start this? I cant deal with setting every cue and memory point again!!!

What Erik said :) all DJ specific info (cues, loops beatgrid keys etc) are stored in the database. Rekordbox's backup (to an external) & restore does the job of moving everything just fine. Alternatively you can have a look at this https://sellfy.com/p/qgPS/

So a question:

I use iTunes to organize my music (because I also use Serato at home) and when I moved over to a new computer, and imported the saved database, no track analysis showed up on my (iTunes created) playlists. They were there in "collection", but not my iTunes playlist view.

I was unsure how to deal with this, so I just reanalysed (I don't do many complex cues/loops, but would like to).

Any idea what happened and what I should have done?

Probably under a different username, so the path and/or unique track ID didn't match.
