Getting started with the DDJ 1000
Hi all, long time vinyl DJ trying to get my DDJ1000 up and running and having a few issues
Checked some online vids and got the drivers all installed, firm ware updated and Rekordbox license done...in RB I can see it's connected to the DDJ1000, but I find and load a track to deck 1, with left side controller set to deck 1, but nothing works...none of the buttons on the controller do anything to play the track? Play/cue/hot cues, nothing...
Gone through the manual cover to cover and the only thing that is not lining up is where it says "checking audio settings"
Manual says:
Master output - DDJ-1000 ASIO: MASTER
Headphone output - DDJ-1000 ASIO: HEADPHONE
But in that setting area all I see are:
Master output - DDJ-1000 ASIO: 1/2 or 3/4 or 5/6
Headphone output - DDJ-1000 ASIO: 1/2 or 3/4 or 5/6
Any clues on getting me going greatly appreciated! Would have thought once the Drivers and Firmware were done this would just be Plug and Play...but no :(

Oh, yes, Channels are set to USB A - laptop plugged into USB A
Rotary selector knob also does nothing?
You're likely to see the ASIO numbered outputs if you're on a PC, whereas the labeled outputs appear on a Mac.
The master should be 1/2, phones 3/4.
If you're not having any control, open the rekordbox Preferences to the Audio tab and scroll to the bottom - is the DDJ-1000 listed to the right of Control Device Information ?
