Midi Mapping in RB Performance: absolute midi or relative midi or both possible?
Hy,
would be very interesting if it is possible in rb to use/map absolute midi data.
absolute midi data is way better for mapping jogwheels than simple relative data. mapping in absolute midi mode is nearly as good as hid.
if not, would it be possible to implement this in a future release?
it's a big disadvantageof Traktor that only relative midi data can be used - jogwheels simply can't be mapped with a high resolution.

how are for example the sx and the sx mapped? it seems that they are using absolut angle data for the jogs (same as in serato).
The MIDI mapping is in its infancy and we hope to see additional changes supporting other configurations in the future. Thanks for your patience.
no Problem, i can wait :-) asked just for getting more technical knowledge about the midi handling in this Software.
