[Solved] Problem with setting first beat - please help
I have a problem with Rekordbox DJ. I'm using a Pioneer DDJ-SR and whenever I move the platter forward to cue up the first beat, the song skips back to the first cue point, which is a silent gap before the first beat.
I've tried setting the first beat and cue point in Export mode and even locking the file but whenever I load it up again I'm back to square one. I'm sure there's something I'm missing, can anyone please help?
I'm running Windows 8.1 Pro and I'm running the latest firmware update for the DDJ-SR.

Also, I forgot to mention the cue buttons are lit up and not flashing.. I pressed shift+cue and they started flashing but as soon as I load another track I have to press shift+cue to set a cue point.
Have you tried pressing CUE while holding the platter? Or pressing play/pause twice to put the player into pause mode?
Yes I have. All good I got the problem sorted. One of the options in preferences.
