Change CDJ 2000 to Player 1 or Player 2
Im using Rekord Box with 2 x CDJ 2000's wired with a LAN hub along with my MACBOOK PRO.
I like to have my cdjs numbered correctly...i.e. Left cdj 2000 - Player 1 & Right Deck cdj 2000 - Player 2. Im a mobile DJ so the same deck is never in the same position. I was at a gig yesterday and the player numbers of the CDJ 2000'S were the other way round. I went into the menu to change the player numbers but no luck. The player numbers just remains the same.
I just ended up swapping the CDJs over but there must be a way of doing this through the CDJ right?

Ok sorry just realised this may be in wrong forum but still using this with Rekord Box....
you have to make sure all media is disconnected, sd card, usb, LINK, etc..... then go into menu and you can change it
Yes, change when players are unattached to all set-ups. I used 3 players back in the day (2 x CDJ-1000/1 x CDJ-400) and I actually put 1 or 2 on the players before gigs. I stole the idea from Pete Townsends Leas Paul set-ups... #dorky
