[SOLVED] New to Rekordbox, Need Help???
So I just purchased a set of CDJ850-W's & they came with a copy of Rekordbox. After I install the program on my laptop, what then? I have been a long time user of Virtual DJ when I spin & I know that the 850's can control my VDJ so I am unsure of just exactly what Rekordbox is?

Rekordbox is so you can import, analyze and export your tracks to an USB flash drive, plug the drive into the player and DJ, no need for a laptop when playing live. If you're hooked on a VDJ type program, then RB is not for you, Just use them to control VDJ via HID if its available
Thanks BriChi, I will definitely install Rekordbox on the desktop & play around with it. Anything you can give me a heads up on for using it for the first time? Oh, I am not locked into the VDJ program at all, spinning without the laptop is how I started but on vinyl 25 years ago, thanks again.
