[SOLVED] Djm 900 nexus,Effects Depth/Level cutting out
I have recently started getting problems with my effects depth/level button on my djm 900 nexus,It is getting pretty annoying now as it is restricting me when using effects,i turn the knob up and it sounds ok but sometimes the sound dips or cuts out as if there is a loose connection.I am basically just wanting to see if this is a problem that is fixable and not an expensive repair as i would love to be able to use my rmx 1000 again soon without worrying the effects will cut out.
Any help or info on this would be greatly appreciated and if possible can someone email me if they can provide me with any.

As a temp work around you could use it on master or a single channel..if the mixers out of waranty I would start by checking all internals are connected properly, ribbon cables ect. If you gig the mixer it's possible something is loose. Failing that replace the level/depth pot and the tac switch under the flashing on off button.
Also a firmware re flash might be worth a shot.
A new firmware for the KUVO compatability was released find it here in the support section.
All though it's not directly related a re flash of the firmware may cure it.
How do I do a firmware reflash if you don't mind me asking I would like to try avoiding opening mixer up as I'm not too familiar with the technical side of the mixer this is a pain not having it working properly
:(
@John > Instructions for updating the firmware are located here along with the download to the latest version: http://pioneerdj.com/support/product.php?c=735&lang=en&p=DJM-900NXS&t=111
Should the firmware update not address the issue, it may be a dirty or bad pot, in which case, please contact Pioneer technical support via the links at the right to have your unit serviced.
