DDJ 200 crossfader bleed?

Hi all,

I have a brand new DDJ 200 using Djay Pro 2 on a Macbook air (2018). There seems to be a crossfader bleed apparent (can here the cueing track when crossfader is fully on the other track). Seems very weird as i understand bleeds happen on used items and not brand new items. Its likely the crossfader is fine and the issue is something software/laptop related. Does anyone have any ideas as to what the issue may be?

NB: I know that this device works best with rekordbox but Djay Pro 2 is listed as a compatible piece of software so it should work just fine.
