DDJ-SX3 Jog wheels not working

Hi,

I have a DDJ-SX3.

My job wheels work fine when music is not playing.

My job wheels do not work properly when a song is playing.  If I scratch, the latency is delayed, or I can scratch backwards but not forwards.  
So disappointing.

I am running DJ Serato pro 2.1.1 and Mojave 10.14.5

I have moved my latency in Serato to a 1, and have played with the jog wheel sensitivity (none to highest) and nothing seems to work.  

Help!
