DDJ-Wego : Not possible to use mic input to Mac ?

Hi

I have just got a wego and i'm using DJay to make simple radio mixes. I have attached a rode mic (and others) to the mic input. The mixed audio is recorded via the DJay program for sending to the station. Although the Mac sees there is a mic input on the DDJ, it does not receive a signal. I attached a monitor to the master output  on the DDJ and the mic comes out there, but not the mixed tracks. I had assumed my unit was defective and had the dealer swap it out, but the replacement is the same.

Is it not possible with this unit to use the mic input to speak into the mix ? Is it "as designed" that the master output is only the mic ?

Seams a bit strange to me.

Whats the solution ?
