Please give it a go (Firmware = 4.10, Jog mode = CD, pitch range = 10%, pitch @ +5.9%, MT = on, AutoCue = on)
and post your results...
Thanks
Dream, I just reproduced it in 2 seconds using your track so Pio engineers should be able to do the same and fix it, here is my video just as proof, happened in Vinyl and CDJ mode just as in FYI: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PN1YI9NDJKw
and, just for the record, pitch for my tests HAD to be on 5.90% to reproduce, the glitch would not happen if I was at 5.85 or 5.95 but once on 5.90, it would not auto cue
I've tried it several times and haven't had it happen once. Passing it to the engineers for testing.
Pulse has the magic cdj's, LOL
It's true -- they are pretty magical. ;)
Hahahahaha, im sure
BriChi thank you for testing this one.
It might have been me that had this problem. I remember it happened one night a few months back but never happened again. It was almost like Auto Cue was switched off and it just started playing the next track... Happened about 2/3 times over a four hour period.
Engineers were able to reproduce it with your track and will be investigating the cause - your patience is appreciated while they take the time to sort it all out. (Translation: don't expect a fix next week but feel confident that they will eventually find a solution to this rare problem.)
Thanks a lot Pulse for your time and patience to check this. To be honest its rare and happens once in a time so you are right. But it happens. Anyways I can understand your English. I wouldn't expect a fix next week. At the end of the day, yesterday pioneer released a new firmware.
so that we don't forget !
@Pulse, instead you should have said... "Translation: don't expect a fix next week, but feel confident that if same problem occur to new cdj-2000nxs we will eventually find a solution to this rare problem"
There is nothing to say that an update for the 2000 won't contain this fix.
Yesterday same thing happened to me for third time in last 6 months.
4th time, not 3rd
Guys, i had a track drop out on me a few weeks ago... pretty random and hard to replicate at request.
i ended up formatting my usb drive and exporting my library again...problem now gone.
none of us really know if a database has gone bad, that relates to one track or more... the easy way is re-export rekordbox after a clean format or partition.
@Matt that is not a bad database. Every time I use my cdjs I always format my USB and export it again from RB to USB as I change tracks and order in my playlists. If you check the videos on top you will see next day I reproduced the problem with clean USB and only the Enola EP exported in USB. Also as Pulse says engineers were able to reproduce it after sending my track.
Anyways thank you for your reply.
