[SOLVED] DDJ-SX no output - Audio midi setup levels are down to zero (MAC)
Product
Serato DJ
Version
1.1.2
Hardware
Pioneer DDJ‑SX
Computer
Mac
OS
10.7.5
newly bought DDJ-SX (new batch as of march 2013), connected according to installation guide and latest firmware confirmed. serato DJ recognises the DDJ-SX and controls are working fine between them (i can load tracks, cue and play buttons etc ...). But i have no sound coming either from the master (i have active speakers connected to master 2 out) and no LED activity from master or from decks volumes (even with knobs pushed to the max, and i have no headphones sound level either.
Checked the audio midi setup on the mac the DDJ-SX volume levels are down to zero but i cannot change them (greyed). I read back in november some similar issues that i guy managed to solve by connecting a CD player (which increased the midi volumes to ma xbut i dont have such option) to have the controller reincrease the midi audio levels to maximum
Mac is running 10.7.5

Ok i am plain stupid. For everyone having that problem thinking that they tried everything that everyone was saying, do check again your trim. I did the trick for me. My trim was down as lots of people were saying to do it i checked each point after the other and yes my trim was down.
Check again everything even if you think you did everything correctly.
Glad to hear it was something simple. ;)
