Ripping CD's using Rekordbox and CDJ2000N / DJM900N

According to this article it's possible...

https://www.digitaldjtips.com/2016/08/rekordbox-4-2-1-now-lets-you-rip-cds-vinyl/

However I can't find instructions on how to do it anywhere.

Is it possible and if so how?

Thanks

That's basically saying you can record the input. If you've got CDs to rip, you're better off using a CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive to digitally copy the audio to a WAV or MP3.

I was going to use a standard ripping program on my laptop, but someone suggested there are different quality ripping programs and the rip itself doesn’t copy exactly the original WAV CD file. What’s the short version summary of the detail on this? Thanks!

There's no difference - it's copying bits 1:1 if you're making a WAV file. You could use iTunes or EAC.
