DDJ 1000 not recognized by rekordbox
I have been using the DDJ SZ for a while and just bought the DDJ 1000. first thing i did was install the drivers and update the software. When i open rekordbox nothing shows up. It says DDJ 1000 is connected but nothing happens. I have been trying to fix this for hours. I did the MIDI utility delete from the profiler. nothing.
I am very frustrated. i have been using pioneer controllers since day 1. never had this issue.
is it faulty? how can i fix this brick

The mixer is connected to my computer, but there are no functions in midi settings. When i click midi in rekordbox, it shows ddj 1000, but there are no settings in any of the tabs.
I clicked learn and added play/pause to deck one and then only deck 1 play pause worked. How can it be there are no settings in the midi to control the controller??
I had to update to the latest, firmware, drivers and latest Rekordbox DJ to get mine working on my Windows 7 platform. Try updating everything.

I reinstalled rekordbox and it worked.
Joe, I have the same problem. What do you mean by doing the "MIDI utility delete from the profiler"?
