PIONEER DDJ SZ + SERATO DJ | PLAY BUTTONS DON'T WORK

So for whatever reason, this Controller will connect to everything except the play functions in Serato Dj. The shortcuts will work, the pitch will work but the platters won't play. It also doesn't seem to send audio to the masters either when I use the channels in internal mode. It has to be some stupid software conflict or firmware thing. I am using the 1.9.3,  I have Max yosemite OSX 10.10.3, I also have Serato Scratch Live installed because I own an SSL.1 and rane TTM57 SL.
