Bought DDJ RX with RB DJ - won't register license

Hi, Have bought a second-hand DDJ RX complete with the RB DJ license, but I cannot get the license key to work to download the RB DJ software because the license is still registered to the original owner.

Is it possible for me to get him to deactivate or release the license so that I can use it, and if so, how can I instruct him to do so please?

@Neil > The original owner will need to contact Pioneer DJ via this support form and request deactivation of the license. He/she will need to provide:

- their KUVO email address

- their KUVO name

- the rekordbox serial number

He may have it activated on a second computer which means he needs to deactivate the license on that aswell, I've also heard of problems where even though it's deactivated the license is still linked to your kuvo account, if you have no idea who the previous owner was I would get in touch with pioneer and see what they can do or if you know who he is and he says he's deactivated it he may need to get in touch with pioneer for you.

I have the same problem ..even though the previous owner deactivate it from his laptop..still getting error 5 invalid key..really frustrating and don't know what to do
