Sandisk Extreme Pro 128gb USB 3.1 not read

On other posts I saw many replies by Pulse recommending the above usb drive for use with CDJ/XDJ. I bought 2 to replace my existing drives. The export speed was amazing compared to what I was using before and the reason I bought the drives. When I turned up to the gig the venue had 2 XDJ 1000 mk2. Neither would recognise the first drive. I thought it was maybe faulty so tried the next one. Same issue. Constant display of No USB. Has anyone else encountered this issue? And how did you get round it? I don’t want to go back to old drives with extremely slow export speed as that’s a killer with Rekordbox. I have 7 gigs between now and the end of November that I need these working for so any suggestions are greatly appreciated

are you usb formatted to fat32 on master boot? if so it won't recognize the unit. you might have to reformatted

KennyCampbell

Hi Steven. I reformatted as soon as I got it to be safe and still nothing

really that strange and you sure it was in master boot record? try to erase it an try again make sure it's on the setting on sent

Ah, I just checked and I think you're right!  Both were on GUID Partition Map.  Which is strange as my other USB's are on the same and work in every XDJ/CDJ I've tried.

Thanks Steven!

Guid partition won’t work even doe it might recognize some units which I find strange. But It’s recommended to use master reboot. It’s better to be on the safe side
