Simple Drag and Drop mp4 in playlist
Maybe Im doing something wrong, but since the day i purchased ( witch is around june) rekordboxdj I have been trying to use it by simply creating a playlist, and drag and drop some of the songs to playlist. after plenty of tries i realized that all my mp4 songs wouldnt simply drag and drop to playlist. I use to do alot of video djing before so I have lots of mp4 version of songs. now i converted one song to mp3 and it went without any hitch. so is there any place in setting i need to change for my mp4 to drop normaly. i don't want to play videos at this time, but at the same time don't want to convert 10,000 songs that already have. I mean couple of my friends told me this a great software that is why i got it. I have been using serato scratch then moved to seratodj and they never gave me an issue for my playlist . to me most important part is setting up playlist for private parties and wedding. I gave up using rekordbox for while just for that simple reason. if anyone can help me to solve this issue, I would really appreciated. I would love to use this software at least in one gig

Just so you're aware, you can't add MP4s to an audio playlist; there are currently no mixed-media playlists available. Please try creating a video playlist then add the tracks there.
Our team is aware of this request and has been working to implement a graceful solution. The reason it doesn't currently work is that videos can't be exported to USB devices for use with stand-alone players, so they have been omitted from those playlists.
thank you , but i don't see and option for video playlist. is it because i don't have rekordbox video license. I didnt think i needed if I wasn't using the video dj future
In that case, you'll see those files in your collection, and you can play the audio, but you can't make a video playlist without the video plugin, sorry.
lol ok I guess 150 pucks so you can use playlist. or setup a dedicated PC to convert all my files.
well it was my mistake not know about it before purchasing rekordbox dj.
