Flash Drive Suggestions
Now that the XDJ-RX has been out for a couple of years and the RX2 is coming, what brand(s) of USB flash drives or external hard drives are people using with good success? I had issues in the past with the RX E-8306 Missing File messages and I wonder if it might have been the flash drive I was using. Anyway, I sold the unit and I miss it and the RX2 looks really good and I'm thinking about giving it a try. I just wonder if there's a particular flash drive that is awesome for the XDJ-RX units.

The majority of the playback and performance issues I see with Pioneer DJ equipment is due to the USB drive. I recommend you spend a little bit more money and get a quality performance drive than skimp and have issues.
I personally recommend the Corsair GTX and SanDisk Extreme Pro drives, and not much else. I have tested a whole variety of drives, from the cheap to the super expensive, as well as external SSDs in USB enclosures, and I would happily pay a premium to not sit and wait for my music to export.
Pulse, is that the Corsair Flash Voyager GTX (I assume)? Also, do you know how many songs you can put on a flash drive with the XDJ-RX2 without it being an issue? I think the original XDJ-RX had a 10,000 song limit... is that the same for the new one?
@Mike > Yes, that's the drive.
AFAIK, there's no limits on the RX2. The original RX had a "soft limit" of 10,000; it would work with more, it was just slower.
