[SOLVED] Recording a mix from the DJM700 without a computer
Hey guys,
I have my first paid party tomorrow night (other than a mates birthday (100 people) and for a shop (marketing purposes)) and I really wanted to record the mix. I'll be using 2x CDJ900s and a DJM700 mixer without a laptop. I prefer mixing without a laptop since I don't have/want serato or traktor. I was wondering how i could record the mix. Playing some really dirty house beats btw :)

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/ Download this free recording software. You also must have an 1/8" RCA plug to go from the RECORD outs on your mixer, to the headphone jack on your laptop. Adjust levels, and record away!!
Oh yeah...need the laptop when you perform, but don't need it to mix
He said without a computer... in which case, any portable recording device will do. I use a Tascam recorder, just connect to the REC output of the mixer and away you go.
