Channel fader moves, not as sharp at cutting compared to DJM8/900

Hey there,

Noticed this a lot over the past few months since buying my RZ. When Im chop mixing using the channel faders going from full 1 and zero 2 and flicking to zero 1 and full 2 it just is nowhere near as instantaneous as doing the same move on a DJM where it is split second perfect (as proven on my old 800 and even older 600).

With the RZ I almost get a bit of fader smoothing meaning the sharp kick of a bass drum starts muffled.

Is there a way around this at all?

RekordBox 4.01 -> 4.1 all the same - Windows 10 64bit on 6 month old Toshiba Core i5 8GB RAM 256GB SSD etc etc.
