CDJ2000 NXS2 RCA Output Distortion and Clipping
Hi,
Lately i've been experiencing issues with one of the 2000 NXS2 Audio output, more specifically with the Left Side RCA Output.
The sound is completely distorted and makes it impossible to use. However, the Right Side output works like a charm.
I'm guessing this is a hardware/capacitor problem, but i couldn't find anything related on the forums. So if anyone ever had this problem before, i'd love to hear some suggestions before sending the unit to servicing.
Also i bought the unit a year ago for home usage, never moved it, and it never got any shocks whatsoever so i'm pretty surprised this is happening now...

No need to order anything for that - just using one side of a stereo RCA cable for testing that would be fine... if your mixer doesn't have digital inputs, that won't help anyhow, which is why I was asking.
Unfortunately the only real option is to direct you to contact a Pioneer DJ authorized service centre in your region to have your hardware inspected and/or repaired.
Are you able to check the digital output?
Thanks for your answer, I just ordered a cable to do so. Since the Right RCA output is working correctly, the Digital output might not be affected. At the moment i'm splitting the Right RCA output as stereo to get around distortion.
The thing is, my DJM-450 doesn't have any digital inputs. So it would be either servicing, or buying a new mixer
I was able to test the digital output today and it does work, anyway i'm off to servicing. Thanks for your answers.
