Talking Over on DJM-900 Corrupts Audacity Recording

Twice this past weekend I was recording my live set onto Audacity. During both sets there was a point where I plugged a mic into the mic port, flipped the switch to talk over, and spoke to the crowd. On my Audacity recordings, at that point, the remainder of the recording became corrupt with static. The recording shows normal sound waves but there is no audible music to hear.


Any ideas? This happened to anyone else? Very strange that this doomed the mix from that point on...

What were your configurations for the output channels being sent to Audacity from the DJM Settings Utility?
