Buttons misbehave on XDJ 1000 MK2
Hey guys,
I have a bit bizzare issue with one of my units. Basically the back button no longer works as "back" but rather as "shortcut". The button "time/Acue" works now as "back".

Is there any factory reset or do you think it's a hw issue?

Yikes.
If a firmware update doesn't resolve it, then I'd definitely direct you to contact a Pioneer DJ authorized service centre in your region to have your XDJ inspected and/or repaired.
This unit runs already 1.41 already. When I try to update again it's really quick so it does not do anything I think. Is there any way to flash the same firmware again?

Let me see if there's a force-overwrite method.
Sorry, nothing in the service manual for it -- please contact an ASC to have it inspected.
