HELP ME RECORD DIGITAL !!!!!!
Ok so previously i had a numark mixdeck which was quite simple to set up to my computer but now i have a DJM 900 with two CDJ's one 900 and one 2000.First of all i have searched for videos for simple set up as i have no clue where to put what :( i currently have my usb cable on mixer connected to my computer and both cd's linked together using a ethernet cord , control cable is also in. I have followed the pioneer utilities settings but still cannot seem to get my computer picking up the signal with audacity or sony sound forge HELP !!!

I have a DJM700, I just run from the record out on the mixer to the mic input on my Laptop using a phono to mini jack cable. This lets me record in Audacity and I also using this connection to stream on the net. You my have to play with the sound level on the input it easy enough to set.
I find I lose quality while recording with rca's so phono to mini jack aye ???
