DDJ-FLX6: Dropping/lag music when using CDJ mode (vinyl mode off)
When I move the wheels with the VINYL mode off (CDJ mode) the music does not move smoothly. I observe jumps/chokes. However, when I activate the VINYL mode and move the wheels by touching them on top, everything flows normally. However, when I touch their edges (pitch bend), the problem occurs.
- I tested both on Rekordbox, Serato and VirtualDJ and the problem happens in the same way.
- I tested it on a PC and on a Mac, there was no difference.
- The supplier changed the equipment for me, but it didn't fix it.
Grateful.

When a song is paused, the outside ring on the jog doesn't respond to small nudges to move the track to line up exactly at the bar, for example, if i want to set a hot cue exactly on the bar. If I nudge slow enough, I'm able to go a whole rotation without recordbox detecting any travel on the jogwheel (even though it's spun a whole rotation). it has to be a big enough nudge for it to register, but that means i cant move the track 1/16th of a bar for example, I'm forced to use Quantize.
There is a minimum threshold of rotation required for it to be registered as a movement as opposed to accidental vibration due to bass.
Hmm I think I understand. So this is a feature of the equipment and not a defect?
Does it do this so that vibrations coming from sub-bass don't accidentally move the jogs? But why doesn't this happen in the DDJ-SX, RX, etc for example?
