DJM900nxs2 - Recording on iPhone7 via AudioBus-Support
Hey there,
when I connect my iPhone7 via Lightning-Connector to the DJM900nxs2 I am able to record a Mix directly on my Smartphone.
The Sound Color FX will be recorded within the Mix, the Low-, Mid-, Hi-Filters of the Channels too but the Beat-Effects are not audible on the recorded mix.
For recording I use the iRigRecording-App and also tried some other.
Is there a way to get the Beat-Effects working via Audiobus-Connection?

Looks like those holidays were a lot longer than expected, and you are super patient!
Here's what they had replied a while back, but I missed the ticket response:
Currently, there is no way to record Beat FX on iOS.
It can be recorded on a computer connected to the DJM using a USB-B port.
You can use REC function of rekordbox.
The mixer REC OUT audio is sent to REC CH on rekordbox as the default setting.
Thus, you can record the output audio from the mixer as it is.
Hmm - is there someon who can confirm that the Beateffects will not send via Audiobus-Connection or is there just someting for me to configure at the DJM to solve the problem.?
I had previously used the AudioBus output to send my mix to Mixlr and never realised there was an issue with the beat effects - I chocked it up to the fact I have a pre-production model and my FX are all wonky anyhow. I'll bring this up with the product team and ask if there's a reason it doesn't send the beat effects as well. It could be something to do with how the audio is routed, but I'll get a definitive answer.
Thanks.
I am excited for new Information after you got feedback ;-)
No problem - it may take a few days to get an answer because it's national holidays in Japan this week.
I am patient ;-)
