CDJ 850 loop problem works with practice?
So guys I've found a lot of threads on the loop problem for the pioneer CDJ-850! i understand that they are quantized, and I have no problem doing the loop manually. Now, what I don't see in all those threads is someone CLEARLY stating that you can make create a perfect loop without the beats going out of sync. I've been practicing for over a month to perfect this loop (no exaggeration) and it's not working. So I was hoping you can guys can clarify this for me ? with practice will it ever be possible to have a loop that won't fall out of sync with other track ? is it actually possible ? did anyone ever do it ?

Welcome ... In fact, it is very difficult to do loops, but not impossible. What came to me to do it is generally acceptable to the 4-beat loop and tempo up. Of course, to use the jog dial to the right sometimes. And live only use the loop divider, if it goes well, all divide = hot loop . The 2, 4, 8 beat loops are good, do not realize the drift 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16 at = you can use, but the 1 beat you do not use, it very difficult keep in sync. The correct bpm is important to be able to accurately divide the CDJ, 1 frame = 13.3333 ms. Good luck
tbox, 1 frame = 1.33333333 ms :)
I realize this is an old post, but thought I just add for any future reference.
A frame of CD audio is 1/75th of a second, but with the USB sources, it's twice as accurate at 1/150th of a second.
Hi Pulse,
I never knew it differs from CD to USB. Is that the same for the CDJ850’s?
