[CLOSED] DDJ-T1 Sound Problem Bites Skip
Hello,
I have a very big problem. I use Pioneer DDJ-T1 with my Sony Vaio laptop VPCF1 and when i play music i hear some loss of bits as if someone put in or out an electronic device into the plugin. I must say that I called the Native Instruments, and their response was that i have to contact Pioneer. I contacted the Pioneer Romania and gave me a unsatisfactory response, they told me that those sounds are made when there is an incompatibility between the console and laptop that I use. Have to say and I tried on many laptops console, nonperfoming than mine and it worked perfectly. I understand that is not MAC, but it i understood from the vendor specifications that i can use this console and a laptop with Windows 7 64 Bit. I must say I am very unhappy with the whole business that I made, and the answers they gave me from Native Instruments and Pioneer, considering I paid almost $ 2000 laptop and 1200 $ for console. So if anyone has any suggestions I am willing to try.
Thanks ...
Alex

@Alex > It's interesting that you mention it's a Sony ... it seems that the majority of the people who are having playback issues with the DDJ series are using Sony laptops.
I'm going to open a ticket with the engineers to see if there's any common thread here with Sony computers that may be causing the problem.
@Alex - Salutare.
@Alex > Can you provide the full spec of your laptop? Also, please try increasing the buffer size and tell me what the kernel buffer setting is within the DDJ ASIO Setting Utility? Thanks.

@Alex > You are suggested to upgrade as it appears you're using 1.2.8. The latest version is 2.1.2.
@Paul > What version of Traktor are you running?
i`m using 1.2.8
I tried to upgrade Traktor from service center but it
s keep asking me for the serial. Ive typed the serial from the original cd. and wen i click the upgrade buton it is turning me back to introduct the serial number although it entered correctly.I'm running latest version of Traktor Pioneer Edition (2.1.2). Why are you asking?
i
ve send an email to native instruments because i cant upgrade my traktor. And then i whill tell you if its working properly or not. Although i think it isnt the problem because the version of the Traktor. Mybe the engeneers from pioner whill know. Both: Please try the steps outlined in this thread: http://www.native-instruments.com/knowledge/questions/847/Windows+7+Tuning+Tips+for+audio+processing
@Alex > If that's the DDJ-T1 edition you're having troubles upgrading, you should have been emailed an upgrade serial number as the serial differs from v1 to v2.
I don't need any tips at the moment. My setup works perfect with no audio dropouts.
PS: I read that page BEFORE installing DDJ & Traktor :)
@Paul > Sorry, I didn't translate your earlier post but assumed because you had been posting your information that you were also experiencing problems. Carry on then! :)
That's OK. I assumed Alex is from Romania (like I am) based on his name, and was easier for me to talk to him in our native language!
No worries and thanks for that help -- I had tried the Romanian translator but it doesn't always do such a great job of translating local slang or colloquialisms. :)
@Alex > Have you tried the tips on the link I included above?
hello.
Yes i did evreything and i have no pozitive result!
