Jerky waveforms with RB 5.4.1 / Mojave 10.14

I and at least one other person I am aware of have been experiencing jerky waveform scrolling since moving to RB 5.4.1 / Mojave 10.14.

Draw rate is set to "High Speed". We both have core i7 MacBook pro's.

The issue is intermittent and seems to occur when dragging a track from a playlist up to a player. Sometimes the waveform is scrolling is smooth and after I drag in a new track it becomes jerky. Sometimes it is jerky scrolling, then loading a new track causes the scroll to smooth.
