Pioneer DDJ SZ2 - No Recording Signal in Serato
Hi Pioneer Software Team-
I am having issues with recording in Serato off of my Pioneer DDJ SZ2 controller. I have literally made hundreds of recordings using this controller through Serato and it just stopped working.
I am wondering if it has anything to do with the Pioneer Driver I just installed.
At any rate. when I try to record now, there is no signal showing up on the screen, no matter how loud I turn the music up.
When I try to open the recording up it is just a blank file.
I am wondering if it's Pioneer issue, or a Serato issue, but I suspect it's a Pioneer issue.
Is there a setting on the controller that may have caused this to happen.
Was it the installation of the new driver?
I need help, as this is very important that I am able to record.
New Driver Version installed: 4.0.0
Serato Version: 2.5.12
Pioneer Controller - DDJ-SZ2
Please help!!!!
Thanks!
Tim

Upgrade to 4.0.1 as there were issues with 4.0.0 and dropouts - plus make sure you have granted Serato permission to use the mic (audio input) under System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Microphone (left) > Serato (right).
