Toraiz SP 16
Hi Pioneer , i just got my unit today and i am totally impressed. Yes there is a ton of potential here and early cries of what may seem as an unfinished product. But i can see what lies ahead and i really hope you can invest some effort in engaging with users similar to well known software companies , not only by setting up and actively participating in a proper user feedback process but also beta testing for upcoming releases e.t.c.
The immediacy of the Toraiz beats everything hands down! but there is still way to go before you can claim it to be a standalone Sampler. I am really hoping the upcoming releases will take this unit to whole new level. ( the firmware roadmap that you have released is a bit disappointing to be honest).

Agreed. The update Road map is kind of pathetic. Just a bunch of standard features that the Toraiz should have shipped with anyway. Barely even brings it near to rival machines and shows no serious depth or ambition from pioneer with the unit. I'm afraid that yeah, the UI is nice, but it does almost nothing in terms of functions or its potential... I hope they step things up and do something good with this mix. No way I could justify the price tag until they make many many additions to the OS/functionality.
