To use Performance mode in rekordbox you need to purchase a license after the 30 day trial period has been expired or you got one coming with your device.
The CDJ must be connected via USB. I think the mixer too - if you got one from Pioneer which is eligible.
Here is the list of supported devices:

ive already got full licence mate. when i got it with controller
Did you activate the license on your computer?
And did you followed the instructions?
https://rekordbox.com/en/support/manual.php
Have you switched to 'performance mode'?
In addition - what controller do you have? Is it connected when trying to connect the CDJ? You're license may only work with the controller bundled with. Not sure.
No its not connected when i use the cdjs as the cdjs are in the club the controller i have is ddj rb, it came with the full rekordbox dj licence
and yes when i switch from export to Performance mode it doesn't connect, i was hoping that the usbs i m gonna buy tomorrow will work as i have to use pro link at the moment on export mode
Can you switch to Performance mode?
Do you have the drivers for the CDJ's installed on the computer?
What Mixer is used?
im in the club on saturday so i will see if the usb cables work which ive been told it should i will check
from what i've read i need to plug the in usb cables and switch to usb on the mixer and should be good to go but i've downloaded the manual just in case lol
good luck.
I would recommend to have a rekordbox prepared USB stick with you to be able to use it in Stand alone mode - just in case.
thanks i will do
