Massive Rekordbox Problem (3.3.0) - Cue/Beatgrids all shifted
Okay I am trying not to freak out here... Thousands of my tracks all have improper beatgrids and cue points after updating to 3.3.0. Everything is off by about 200ms.
Even when I re-import and update collection/sync from my USB (with correct beatgrid info) it does not reflect the proper cues/grid.
This is seriously scaring me. At least I have my USB with most of my songs properly done on it... but all the rest on my PC seem to be a lost cause.

You don't think the core software on which all the other applications and audio engines reside might have something to do with the problems you're experiencing? ;)
Unfortunately Windows 10 does not yet have official support from Pioneer DJ for its products, drivers or software. You can see the full document outlining the Windows 10 verification here.
Until it is officially supported, all I can do is pass your complaint along to the engineers but it likely won't be until later in October that rekordbox is verified and supported and any issues like this have been resolved.

Screenshots to illustrate the problem.
what if you right click one of the proper tracks on the USB and choose "update collection", Does it fix the faulty one on the internal collection?
Does not fix.
@Christian > What version did you upgrade from?
The most recent prior. I think 3.2.2? I always update to the newest within a few days of release.
Super scary. I've backed up this incorrect database file to a separate file and gone to work correcting what is wrong. Very aggravating. First time I've been bitten by rekordbox this bad.
Can you send me the original (backup) database so I can pass it along to the engineers for investigation? Stick it on Dropbox and pass the link.

What is in that file that makes it over 200MB?!?
Ah, you sent the whole thing -- really just needed the .edb file. ;)
@Christian > Can you provide one or two of the audio files which are having the problems?

They are all like this, every single file that had cue points and hot cues set. Every song that had no cue info saved is NOT effected. It's so strange.
They may be on to the cause, looking to verify with your data (already provided) and a track or two. Thanks, I'll pass that along as well.
@Christian > The engineers have asked if you can you link "Deep In (Original Mix)"?
ask and you shall receive :) https://mega.nz/#!aEdzSATC!X4_yhhlL1ePo-2CQx9TjhwRkRvvzqEufXUhl0FHcVsY
Very interested to see what they have to say
Thank you for the prompt response!
@Christian > Did you ever use rekordbox mobile to update your beat grid and then used the "Update Collection" ?
I have only ever exported to mobile. Never updated collection from mobile back to desktop.
thats what I said to try earlier, Update backwards so the mobile cues update to the local cues, I thought you said you tried that and it didn't work
I have like 20 songs on my mobile device.
I have 3000 on my flash drive that have the correct beatgrid/points. It will NOT update from my flash drive. I don't see what the point in updating 20 tracks from my phone would be.
Engineers are gathering information.
Which is it though, did you export songs from rekordbox at any time and then go to update the collection?
I didn't know you had 20 tracks on your mobile device, plus it was just a test to see if it would carry back over.
All info is in my OP. My flash drive has 75% of my gridded/cued tracks. That flash drive was exported from my desktop that is having this problem.
Now, after upgrading to 3.3, the beatgrids are misaligned as well as the cues on my desktop.
When I try to update collection/sync grid info from the flash drive, rekordbox acts as if it doesn't need to update anything because it think they are already correct/synced.
@Christian > That doesn't clarify the answer though - you said "I have only ever exported to mobile," but then say that you only have 20 tracks. So was the export to rekordbox mobile just a test for something? And did you ever adjust the grids on mobile at all?
you wrote """At least I have my USB with most of my songs properly done on it.""" on your original post which lead me to believe thats thousands of tracks, not 20
Rekordbox on my phone is a backup with like 20 of my most played tracks (at the time) on it. Mobile device should be irrelevant since I've only ever exported to it once a long time ago before I ever had this problem.
No adjusting grids, no new points, no nothing on mobile. Literally just exported, played for ten minutes over wifi. "oh, that's pretty cool." And have not used it since.
^^ That's all I needed to know. ;)
Cool. sorry for being terse I've just never had rekordbox bite me like this before lol
