Rekordbox not recognizing hd using to pull iTunes

Everything is up to date. My HD has only ever been formatted for mac os. I have used my HD to hold a copy of my analyzed tracks for use with cdjs. I normally use a usb with cdjs to mix with and my HD as a backup. I have my iTunes library on my HD and use my iTunes to import all my songs to rekordbox for analyzation. For some reason Rekordbox does not show my HD in the device menu but will pull from my iTunes stored on it. I have restarted everything multiple times and have uninstalled and reinstalled rekordbox multiple times. I have restored rekordbox from a Time Machine backup as well and also deactivated and reactivated my license key. Nothing works. I have no idea what to do.
