DDJ-T1 + BEER = FAIL
Saturday at a gig, someone spilled 0,5L beer all over my controller.
I was quick and got some paper towels to clean up the mess, and i got almost everything.
Two small problems came along with the beer.
Sunday came and i noticed that one jog-wheel makes some weird noises when turned. Like there is a stick in a bicyclewheel.
When channel A volume fader is down traktor skips thevolume from 40% - 50%, so its not possible to start a track without sound coming out of the speakers.
I have insurance on all my equipment so everything will be okay, and most likely i will keep the gear since its "broken".
When the insurance company have paid me, i would like to open the controller up and see if its posible to clean out the fader and have a look at the jogwheel.
but... how the hell do i get the knobs and faders off to get rid the top? They seem to be stuck!

@Dj KoxX > Ouch!
The faders come apart sideways, like an Oreo-cookie. It's to prevent them from flying off in a heated mix-session! As for the knobs, I know they're tough but not entirely sure how it comes apart. I wouldn't pull it apart myself, especially as you may need to give the unit to the insurance company to prove the damage.
@KoxX > I don't recommend you try to take off the knobs as you have to apply significant force to remove them and the support column underneath could easily snap.
So the controller goes in the trash then, huh?
@Koxx > You'll need to take the unit to an authorized repair centre, the technical support links in the right column can point you in the right direction.
