CDJ 3000 - Track caching or emergency loop with SD memory card?
Hi
I have noticed on the CDJ 3000, when using an SD memory card and when opening the SD cover, the track just stops dead - there doesn't seem to be any caching of the track or emergency loop.
Is this expected functionality or a bug?
Many thanks

It used to drop the volume when you opened the door, but as to now the player sees the door open as a 'I'm removing this media", since you need to press the SD card into the slot so no emergency loop. But after firmware 1.08, if you remove a link or USB drive it auto caches the whole track!
Thanks Jay - I'm fully aware of USB and pro-link track caching for the CDJ 3000
What I was asking about is track caching or emergency loop functionality for SD memory cards. However looks like the answer for this is 'no'.
Given that the SD already has a extra layer of protection from removal of the drive, the song is only buffered in the event the link disconnects when playing from the SD on another player or there is an issue reading from the drive.
Hi Pulse
That isn't correct - as soon as you open the SD cover, the track stops playing - so less protection than USB.
That's what I mean - you have to physically open the door; that is the same as pulling the drive out.
