rekordbox video

i'm having a weird issue i'm hoping there is a easy fix for. when i launch video screen to full screen my laptop screen goes black. i've used serato video and currently use mix emergency. i'm trying to give this video program a shot, but i keep having small issues. this is my primary for now. my second would be a way to let upfaders control video since i don't use a crossfader, but getting a full video screen while seeing my laptop screen is first.
1 have 2011 15 MacBook pro 1 TB SSd and 16 GB ram. no cdmi out, so using thunderbolt adapter. that may be problem, but isn't with other software.

Could you please see the below setting on your MAC?

[System Preferences] -> [Mission Control] -> [Displays have separates Spaces]

You should set "ON" this setting to works rekrodbox correctly.
