Hi,

I have purchased the djm 850 and 2 x cdj 850. I have updated the firmeware of the cdj to te latest version.

I am using VIRTUALdj (v7.4) This is installed good because I can use the decks in virtual dj.

But there's a problem. When I want to use a USB stick and want to switch from PC to USB virtual DJ crashes.

I spent all day looking for the solution of this problme on the net but cnt find none.

 

Please help me further.

The reason the software will crash is because selecting usb disconects the sound card from the computer / mac to play the music off usb. You can go from pc / mac to cd but not to usb.

@Rinaldo > Taff is correct, switching sources will 'disconnect' the soundcard to VDJ and thus the laptop is no longer receiving input from the CDJ.
