didn't ask for license key
I've just purchased a xdjrx and installed rekordbox and the driver software from pioneer.
it hasn't asked for my product license key anywhere throughout the set up process.
i want to register so I'm getting updates etc
please help?

An XDJ-RX doesn't mean you have rekordbox DJ (performance mode; used when you want to use the XDJ-RX as a controller for the software), it is an additional purchase. For use in EXPORT mode (the free / basic mode), you don't require a license, and you will be prompted upon launch if there is a new version available and if you want to install it.
