Teach library knob to trigger track preview / layout question
Hi, two library related questions:
Is it possible to start track preview (without loading on a deck) by assigning a shift-press action to the library knob? I use a ddj-rx.
Is it possible to change the library layout so that tree-view, playlist, tag list and related tracks are in equally sized frames next to each other? I don't need most of the metadata and the wide library area could be used more efficient that way.
Thanks!

Preview: Yes; just un-assign "Browse Forward" from control 9642, and that will allow you to map SHIFT+PRESS ENCODER.
Personally, I'd find it more functional to use that to navigate, and to have a simple press as the preview.
For the second question, no - that's not possible, sorry.
Hi again... after a while.
I managed to assign preview to the knob - I was just wondering if it's somehow bossible to quickly browse through the track as well, eg. by (shift-)turning the knob? Or is it possible to start the preview after a specified time (eg. 30 seconds into the track)
And why doesn't the preview work for tracks in the "related tracks" window?
Regards, Gregor
