CDJ 2000 Jog Wheel Issue: Cannot Scratch / Pitch Bend

Hello. My CDJ 2000 is having an issue with the jog wheel.

There is no control when I try to pitch bend, scratch, or needle lock to move forward a backward in a song. After looking at the diagram below, I think the gears inside are not being read by part 3.

I tried reupdating the firmware and did a hard factory reset.

Ideas anyone? Anyone ever have this issue?

Any thoughts or direction will be much obliged.

Cheers!

I know from checking in the past that the disc (part 34) is inserted into 3 and read in the slot, if 3 goes bad then yes, the jog wheel has no response.

If you have 2 players, try swapping part 3 from the working player to the faulty player and see if it fixes the issue, if it does then you know what to order

Deductive logic is exactly what I used.

Opened the other player. Swapped some parts and now they both work fine.

I believe it was simply the connection from part 3. For what connection seems like it's backwards or upside down to me.

This all happened after I replaced the sensor ring. Super stressful but rewarding!

Thanks for the message back! TICKET CLOSED.
