DDJ FLX 4 Does not connect to Rekordbox mobile via USB
Hey dear Pioneer DJ team,
can you help me troubleshoot my setup? I have a DDJ FLX4 an iPhone 7 with latest iOS 15.something where I installed the latest version of the Rekordbox App (4.something) I can connect the FLX4 via bluetooth and can control the app that way, but the USB connection does not work. I tried the FLX4 with and without external power, the cable is an original apple cable (lightning to usb-c). I have no problems connecting the iphone to anything else.
*edit*
Also I already updated the firmware of the FLX4 to 1.03 with no change in result. https://www.pioneerdj.com/en/support/software/controller/ddj-flx4/#firmware-update
Something else I noticed is, the bluetooth indicator light does not light up even when connected via bluetooth to the rekordbox mobile app.
The FLX4 has a MFD of October 2022.
Cheers

I've found the same, the only way I can get it to work on an iPhone is to use the USB-Lightning camera connection adaptor.
Use the official one, a regular USB-A Lightning cable from the adaptor to power, then USB-A-C from adaptor to FLX4 computer input. No need to provide separate power to the FLX4.
@Eitan Zilkha thank you, I will buy a USB-A to lightning cable and try again.
@Pulse @Keiko @Jay maybe you could add this to the FAQ or the in app support page. Also this is a bugreport, can you maybe foreward it to the dev team?
This is the adaptor I used
https://www.apple.com/uk/shop/product/MK0W2ZM/A/lightning-to-usb-3-camera-adapter
However, the official photos show a direct cable being used, I have tried every combination and can't get it to work any other way.
The same goes for an iPad with lightning.
I just returned, I bought this: https://www.mediamarkt.de/de/product/_ok-ozb-533-3-pack-2435272.html and it worked. It is a USB-A/LIGHTNING cable, both ends male. Then I used a USB A to C adapter to connect the USB A side to the FLX4.
