New computer compatibility for Ddj rzx
Hello!
Will the new MacBook Pro 2.9 i7, 16mb ram, be enough to run the rzx? I am looking to upgrade my laptop, and before I buy the mac, I just want to make sure that the mac will power the rzx with ease. I don't want any struggle at all. Thanks!

Well the new MBP i7 @ 2.9 Ghz is the fastest macbook and the fastest chip you can get so I'd hope it's enough! It'd be sad if a laptop thats JUST shipping now is already outdated.
Yeah it just says recommended 16gb ram or more, so I was worried it wouldn't be enough for the rzx
Just bought the DDJ-RZX and upgraded to the new MacBook Pro 2.9 16GB two days ago and no issues so far. Very powerful controller! Love the dedicated sampler channel strip.
Core i7 CPU´s are always the best choice for Realtime Audiomanipulation Software ;)
Make sure your Mac has an SSD drive and all should work well.
The Software needs that "powerfull" system not the Controller.
Take a lock at the Serato Forum, they call Serato as a CPU killer (in case you did not have an i7 )

Still doing ok with this laptop? Worried about the 16 GB RAM not being enough. I use my desktop that far exceeds all the recommended requirements with 32 GB RAM.
