XDJ-XZ and OPUS missing waveforms on multiple HDDs

Had an XZ, this issue happened right before my pre-ordered OPUS arrived, thought it was a HDD issue.

But TLDR. Some of the songs... maybe 10% were missing wave forms when loaded onto the deck. To bypass this I had used a small USB stick to perform with that night, and that works 100% no problem.

I went on a trip, came back, reformatted the drive, OPUS arrived. same issue. Slow formatted the drive, re-imported library.... Same issue.

Tried my backup HDD. exported music from REKORDBOX to it, and again. some tracks in playlists are missing waveforms.

So I have to wonder. having used multiple HDDs, and decks. I think its maybe Rekordbox corrupting the drives due to maybe an issue? but on a smaller drive that can't hold my full library (not ideal) it works without an issue.( same songs. same order, same playlist name)

Help? lol

So not tried it yet. But seems I may have stumbled my way into figuring this out. I guess you can't use the Sync manager. it breaks things.

Ill report back, but that is a HUGE L for Rekordbox. They need to fix that.

Dirk

It's a bug in rekordbox 6.7 with opus quad library on.

Wait for the rekordbox update.

I'm also waiting.

The only thing you can do, is export playlists manually, not sync, when you want to use opus quad.

Gabriel

The issue is fixed in the latest version 6.7.1.

So please update rekordbox to the latest version 6.7.1.
