Rekordbox Performance Mode + Rekordbox USB not loading
So, if I'm running rekordbox in performance mode using whatever controller, it would make sense that if another dj with a rekordbox synced usb comes along and plugs said usb into my laptop, that their playlists/libraries/songs would pop up somewhere (like they would on any CDJ) and allow us to jam our tunes together.
This has happened. Several times. Their playlists don't show up. I must be missing something. Really. I must. Because this is something rekordbox dj should just do.
Don't tell me its not supported. Because that's crazy talk. Don't be like that. Dawg. No. Don't. Just tell me the one button I haven't pressed and there's all their music.
cuz if this isn't supported...

Unfortunately, this is due to fact that the original rekordbox software was not designed to have the capability to read multiple databases. This is not something that can be easily changed with a simple update. It would require an entire software rebuild.
Guess what... It's not supported. Seriously.
This has been requested for almost one year now. Pioneer has said they're working on it for almost one year now. They're not treating this major fault of rekordbox DJ with the urgency it deserves.
Pioneer, please, why hasn't this been added yet? I've stopped using my DDJ-RX for gigs because of this and will likely end up selling it.
I'm appalled they're asking for money for this program while it can't do BASIC SHIT that any other dj program can do.
Great isnt it. I had a friend pop over who had USBs from his nexus setup - couldnt do a thing bar copy them across and import them into my database
A full software rebuild you say? Well you better get cracking so you can debut this feature in v5.0
I can't see rekordbox dj mode being competitive in the controller market without it. You've got good hardware, but this is a deal breaker for me and many others.
