I have installed the latest 4.01 driver, updated to 6.6.5, tried a new usb cable, lowered latency settings, plug in the power supply. 

I turn on my computer, plug in my interface 2, launch rekordbox. When i play a track i either get the timecode signal or the track jumps/skips, audio drops mid track. 

OSX 12.6 Monterey / CDJ 400 DJM 400 set up. Was working fine before upgrading to Monterey from Mojave,

Have you tried increasing the audio buffer size?

Hi Pulse

Thanks for getting back to me, whats a good number for the buffer size? Also does it make a difference what the sample rate is 48 000 or 96 000?

Buffer size depends entirely on your computer. You should use the lowest value where you don't have audio drop-outs / hiccups.

Samplerate - higher is better, but if your computer struggles with it, lower it.
