Custom Columns in R6 Library view?
Coming from Serato i always used the ID3 'Grouping' Tag to give my Music a value relating to Energy Level, a simple 1-5 which worked well and which i also set up a HotKey Macro for Foobar2000 so as listening in that a simple Hotkey press would assign the track an Energy Number on the Grouping Tag.
Composer is another Tag i have always used and i can set this to a Column in R6 so all good, but no sign of Grouping?
Suggestions. Options that don't involve me having to find another Tag to use for Energy on many 1000's of Files as well as the 3 Mirrored Backup locations?

You could use the star rating or color for the energy level, or even a MyTag.
The Grouping field is not used in rekordbox, however if you have the tracks in iTunes, that Grouping data can be converted to Label.
I created a matrix of the metadata read/written by rekordbox here.

I kind of come up with the using Label Tags for Ratings as an alternative, it shows as Publisher in Foobar2000 so i spent a lot of the weekend moving Tags for Energy and Rating to alternative Tags that both Rekordbox, Serato and Foobar2000 could make use of and made sense to me lol.
Not a small task i can tell you with many Thousands of Tunes mirrored in 3 Backup locations also lol.
Kind of Boggle the Mind why Star Ratings in Rekordbox don't have the option of being written to Tags in the File the same as other Tags changed in Rekordbox does instantly.
Thanks for your help and link to your Metadata Matrix, i imagine their has been many many many before me with puzzled with some of the decisions around Metadate within Recordbox :)
